Very Special Day
I got home a while ago, but couldn’t go to sleep until I wrote these few words down. Today, my oldest “little girl” got married. You know the saying, “You haven’t lost a daughter, you’ve gained a son”? Well, that’s true, but perhaps even truer is that I have also gained a family….a wonderful, large, loving family.
Somehow, it feels really nice to say that. I’ve never known what that is like before. This day has been such a blessing.
Just had to say thank you…just had to let some of the gratitude and joy I feel express itself. I shall have sweet dreams tonight.
