Conversations on the Healing Journey
Conversations on the Healing Journey
I cherish the memories of tea and conversation with my sister and mother. On this healing journey I’d like to create our own conversations of healing.
Consider this an invitation to share your thoughts with me as we explore the things that hurt us and the things that heal, together.
To the best of my ability, I will create audio recordings of these posts for those who are hearing impaired or just prefer to listen instead of read. However, there are a lot of back posts, and I’m also limited in time as I’m working on a number of projects.
Like me, this blog is a work in progress, so I thank you for your patience. And thank you for joining me on this leg of your healing journey! Are you ready? Pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable. I’ll put the kettle on.

[updated 7/01/20] What do I mean when I say, the healing journey? A journey takes us from “here” to “there”. On a healing journey, “there”, is a state of being, arising from growth and change that allows us to live our lives as authentically and consciously as possible. Now, what that looks like and how […]

When did being realistic become synonymous with being cynical or fatalistic. Who says having a negative, hopeless, “why try?” view on life is being realistic? To deny the potential of humanity for good isn’t realistic at all. It’s fatalistic, and I’m not about that. It’s time to let that nightmare of a fantasy go. “Is […]
