Snow…and dreams

At least that’s what they’re calling for. It should snow. It’s winter and it’s the Northeast.

I’ll be at work all weekend, but I just wanted to say that when I come back I’ll have new posts for next week. I’ve been so busy recently, but things are finally starting to fall into place.

Here’s to good dreams…speaking of dreams. I had one of my sister the other night. In the midst of a busy dream, juggling things, dealing with the day to day drama of whatever was unfolding in that ethereal world, in a room full of activity and people, I suddenly realized my sister was sitting in an arm chair with her legs drapped over one arm. She was studying me, smling at me with this lovely amused look.

I cried out her name and we hugged and embraced one another. I kissed her on the forehead and she on mine. She looked at me and said with that wonderful light laughter of hers, “You’re trying too hard. Work with love.”

That was it. The dream kind of continued. I was happy to see her. She looked so good, so healthy and really whole. But my life in that dream was dealing with the dream, with the stuff that was happening around me. So not really leaving her, I left to attend to the situation at hand.

I awoke with her words repeating in my head. “You’re trying too hard. Work with love.”

It’s good advice. But then Vernice always did have that to impart.

Enjoy the snow if there’s snow in your area. Enjoy the purity of the moment, wherever you are.

With love,
