2: This blog is not an advice column. I am not a licensed therapist or legal advisor. I am a lay author and activist. Nothing in any of the books in the Where There’s Smoke Series: Covert Abuse or in any of my writings, on the web or in print or in song, should be construed as legal, medical or psychological advice or counsel.

3: All opinions expressed in the Where There’s Smoke Series and my other writings are my own, and strictly that – opinion and personal perception, based on my personal journey of surviving and overcoming abuse.

Free speech means the government won’t come after you for expressing your thoughts. It doesn’t mean saying whatever you please without accountability. My blog, my rules, my decision as to what is appropriate here and what isn’t.

7: Use of your comments: By commenting you are choosing to allow me to use any or all parts of your comment(s) for publication of this blog in book form, and/or any future publication in any other format. I will NOT take credit for your words, but I will protect your privacy. If used, I will quote your words and/or ideas, and attribute credit to you specifically by your permission only, by your registered member’s name by permission only or as anonymous reference if you prefer. You understand you will receive no remuneration for this use of your comments.

8: No Spam. End of sentence.

9: Usernames and passwords. Don’t share your password and don’t hack into someone else’s account.  Also, the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser’s cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.
