Casting a Light

It’s important to speak out, to use your voice. In this time of dissension and hate, it’s important to share the thoughts that are meaningful to you —

To speak of love and kindness.
To shift one’s perspective.
To find beauty in the moment.
Not to escape but to feed your self, your soul.

Don’t measure its weight. Don’t concern yourself with reach. It’s holding the moment — that energy, like a lone candle in the night that will cast the light where it needs to go.

You do not need to see what lies in the corner that is slightly illuminated. You only need to know it is no longer totally in the dark.

And neither are you.
